Take a stroll along one of the paths that lead down behind the inn with a blanket and a picnic basket prepared by us. This takes you to the creek with its beautiful bridges. Follow it, and soon you will find hidden spots where you can sit down and just relax. If the season is right you will find wild raspberries to pick. And in the picnic basket you may find juice that the cooks have made from our own elderberries. The garden is very beautiful to look at, from the tulip trees, real chestnuts, peaches and common lady's mantle (alchemilla vulgaris) glistening in the sunlight. Our chefs are happy to use what the garden has to offer and are often out botanising. The grapes growing in rows outside the castle are Merlot and exemplify how it looks in our vineyard in Hungary. Through Cezar Winery we are able to serve award-winning wines at our restaurant. Our restaurant manager Niklas knows everything there is to know about the wines and will gladly answer any questions. The wines are not something you'll find just anywhere but instead are a part of Margretetorp's special selection.
